There's a new Lena Dunham series on Netflix featuring "Hacks" breakout Megan Stalter. And if you're happy with an oldie but a goodie, there's a new season of CBS' "Big Brother" streaming next-day on Paramount+, too.

It seems like there are endless choices on streaming, but at least for the week of July 7-13, we think it won't be too difficult to find something that piques your interest while you try to beat the heat. Here is everything new on streaming this week and weekend, with some of our favorites highlighted for your queues.

Amazon's hit "Bosch" gets yet another spinoff, this time without Titus Welliver. Maggie Q ("Designated Survivor") leads the new series as LAPD detective Renée Ballard, another character from Michael Connelly's book series.

"Building the Band" (Netflix)

A combination of "Love is Blind" and "The Voice," the new singing competition show finds musicians trying to pick bandmates from a group of their talented peers, but there's a catch − they can only hear the other singers' voices, not see their faces. It's a surprisingly watchable concept (and easy on the ears, too).

"Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze" (anime, Crunchyroll)

"The Gringo Hunters" (Mexico, Netflix)

"I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability" (anime, Crunchyroll)

"Back to the Frontier" (Max)

HGTV darlings Chip and Joanna Gaines challenge three families to live in the conditions of the 1880s for eight weeks in their latest reality series, which seems like it will have a lot less shiplap and white kitchen counters than their usual fare.

"Dr. Stone Science Future" (anime, Crunchyroll)

"Isadora Moon" (kids/family, Max)

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" Season 17 (Hulu)

The series also stars Will Sharpe (Season 2 of "The White Lotus") and features guest stars including Rita Wilson, Stephen Fry, Richard E. Grant, Emily Ratajkowski and Jessica Alba.

A sequel to the "Dexter" sequel from 2021 ("Dexter: New Blood"), this new series resurrects (as one might presume) Michael C. Hall's killer of killers. He was shot in the chest and seemingly killed by his son in the 2021 show, but hey, never count him out.
