In a subtleTikTok videoshared on Friday, Jan. 2 — just two days after Bryan confirmed thathe and Samantha Leonard tied the knot— LaPaglia, 26, sang along to some very pointedTaylor Swiftlyrics.

"Checkmate, I couldn't lose," she lip-syncs in the clip, as she sports a white top and a tan New York Yankees cap. The lyrics come from Swift's 2022 track "Mastermind" from herMidnightsalbum.

Bryan, 29, shared the first official look at his wedding, includinga photo of himself and his bride, on Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The singer could be seen holding Leonard, 28, as she wore a strapless white gown with a feather-trimmed hem.

"Tougher than the rest," Bryan captioned the post, referencingBruce Springsteen's love song with the same name, hailing from the Boss' 1987 album,Tunnel of Love.

The couple sparked engagement rumors when Leonard was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in a video posted by Bryan on his Instagram Stories.

Bryan and Leonard were first linked in July 2025, after Leonard posted a photo of the pair attending Spain's Running of the Bulls in anInstagram slideshow.

Although Bryan has not commented publicly on the allegations, he subtly referenced his ex in a video, sharing a clip on his Instagram Stories that featured himself setting fire to a flag for Barstool Sports — the media company that hosts LaPaglia's podcast.

Poehler, 54, hilariously consoled her by saying, "I know, I'm sorry," prompting Rudolph to question, "Why didn't I flirt with people?"

Eventually, the comedian, 53, concluded that she is simply "bad at flirting," to which theParks and Recreationstar agreed.

"I agree, you don't read it. Everyone was in love with you," Poehler said in between laughs. However, Rudolph remembered things differently, joking, "I didn't have that experience."

Joking aside, Rudolph's longtimerelationship withOne Battle After Anotherdirector Paul Thomas Andersonwas likely the reason she never mixed business with pleasure while starring onSNLfrom 2000 to 2007.

The couple has been together since 2001 andshares four children:Pearl, 20, Lucille, 16, Jack, 14, and Minnie, 12, named after Rudolph's mother, Minnie Riperton. Though the two are not legally married, the actress has referred to Anderson as her husband since the birth of their first child.

Teens as young as 14 among two dozen now identified in Swiss Alps fire, authorities say

Another 16 victims, including four Swiss girls ranging from 14 to 18 years old, have been positively identifiedin the fire that erupted at a New Year's party in Switzerlandlast week, leaving less than half of the victims left to identify.

Valais canton police are still working to identify all of the 40 people who died at the Le Constellation bar in the Swiss Alps on Thursday night. Police are working with the Institute of Forensic Medicine and the country's disaster victim identification protocol to return the victims to their loved ones.

The victims also include six Swiss males ranging from 16 years old to 31, police said.

Two Italian 16-year-olds, an Italian-Emirati who was also 16, an 18-year-old Romanian and an 18-year-old Turkish national were among the identified victims. The oldest of the newly identified victims was a 39-year-old from France, according to police.

"This means that 24 victims have now been identified," police said Sunday.

The deadly blaze that broke out in the town of Crans-Montana appears to have been caused by sparklers on top of Champagne bottles at the bar. Authorities believe the sparklers were too close to the bar's ceiling, which had a soundproof lining that ignited.

Videos from that night show the flames spreading as some attempted to extinguish the fire and others ran out in a panic.

Ebenezer Mehari, 17,told NBC News that he lost four of his friendsin the fire. He was blinded by the thick smoke that enveloped the club but was pulled to safety by a stranger.

Mehari, who has lived in the area for 15 years, described the scene as "hell."

"Somebody was dying in front of me and I couldn't do anything," he said. "Her face was so burned it was red."

Aninvestigation has been opened into the managers of the bar, who are suspected of negligent homicide, negligent bodily harm and causing fire by negligence, police said. Officials plan to look into what safety measures were in place at the time of the fire, as well as whether soundproofing material on the ceiling that is believed to have caught fire conformed with regulations.

Swiss President Guy Parmelin shared his "deepest condolences."

"Behind these numbers are faces, names, families, destinies brutally interrupted," Parmelin said at a press conference Thursday.

Arizona helicopter crash kills 4 after hitting slackline in canyon

A helicopter crash on Jan. 2claimed the lives of four family members from Oregon in a remote area of Pinal County, Arizona. Officials said the aircraft struck a slackline stretched across a canyon just before 11 a.m. local time.

The helicopter crashed in Telegraph Canyon, south of Superior and about 65 miles east of Phoenix, according to thePinal County Sheriff's Office.

Search and rescue teamsreached the wreckage later that evening and confirmed four fatalities, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board were investigating the crash.

Who was on board the helicopter?

Family members have identified the four passengers as David McCarty, 59, Rachel McCarty, 23, Faith McCarty, 21, and Katelyn Heideman, 22. The identities have not yet been officially released by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

Public records indicate that David McCarty was the owner of Columbia Basin Helicopters, a professional helicopter service company based out of La Grande, Oregon.

The helicopter in the crash was an MD 369FF. It was not immediately clear whether McCarty's company or its aircraft were involved in the crash.

Mary Jane Heideman, Katelyn Heideman's mother and Rachel and Faith McCarty's aunt, told The Arizona Republic, part of the USA TODAY Network, that the loss of four family members has been devastating.

What caused the helicopter to crash?

An eyewitness reported seeing the helicopter strike a portion of the slackline before falling to the bottom of the canyon, according to the Sheriff's Office.

"Preliminary evidence indicates a recreational slackline more than one kilometer long had been strung across the mountain range," the Sheriff's Office said.

The FAA had been informed of the aviation marked slackline and issued a notice to air missions, or NOTAM, before the crash, the International Slackline Association said in astatement.

"No highliners were on the line at the moment of the incident," the association said in a statement. "We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to all of those affected by this tragic event."

Federal aviation recordsshow that a NOTAM had been issued to pilots warning them of a "tight rope" obstruction in the area at the time of the crash.

The notice described a flagged and lighted rope within a one-nautical-mile radius of the site at an altitude of about 600 feet above ground level.

What is a slackline?

A slackline is a narrow length of nylon or polyester webbing anchored between two points to allow individuals to balance on or walk across, according toSlackline US, a nonprofit that promotes the sport.

Highlining is the practice of balancing on a slackline at great heights, including across canyons and between cliffs.

Where was the helicopter going?

The helicopter departed from Pegasus Airpark in Queen Creek, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

Officials have not released information about the helicopter's destination.

Berlin power outage affecting 45,000 homes blamed on 'politically motivated' attack

BERLIN (AP) — Many households and businesses in south-westBerlinface days without electricity after high-voltage power lines were damaged by a fire which city authorities said Sunday was a result of a politically motivated attack by "left-wing extremists."

The fire broke out on Saturday morning on a cable bridge over the Teltow Canal, near the Lichterfelde power plant, according to local authorities. Initially, over 45,000 households and 2,200 businesses in four districts were without electricity. Heating and internet services were also affected.

Franziska Giffey, the city's Senator for Economic Affairs, described the incident as "a particularly severe power outage affecting tens of thousands of households and businesses, including care facilities, hospitals, numerous social institutions and companies."

While power was restored to thousands of households by Sunday, many others are likely to be left in the dark until Thursday, authorities estimate.

Snowy weather and freezing temperatures has slowed down efforts to restore electricity and made life extra difficult for those affected.

The incident is being investigated as a possible act of arson. Authorities compared it to a similar power outage last September in southeast Berlin, when radical activists claimed responsibility.

Authorities said they were working to confirm the authenticity of a letter claiming responsibility for thelatest incident.

The perpetrators were "clearly left-wing extremists," Berlin's Mayor Kai Wegner was cited as saying by a German news agency. "It is unacceptable that once again clearly left-wing extremists have attacked our power grid and thereby endangered human lives," Wegner said.

Saturday Night Live's resident master impressionist isn't allowed to do his best impression on the show.

James Austin Johnson, who regularly portrays President Donald Trump, has one impersonation that he's repeatedly attempted to do onSNL, but he keeps getting shot down because it's just too obscure.

After show alumFred Armisenrevealed during a panel for the Television Academy earlier this year that his own impression ofThis American Lifehost Ira Glass never made it pastSNLdress rehearsal because "it was explained to me that he wasn't famous enough," the current cast member piped up that he could relate.

"Fred, I get that a lot at the table," Johnson said, referring to the meeting where writers and cast members read through potential sketches to see what gets the best reception from the staff. "I get that a lot. 'Why are we doing this, honey?' Because I do the voice. 'Yeah, nobody gives a s---.'"

Johnson was joined on the June 2 panel by hisSNLseason 50 costars Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Bowen Yang, Sarah Sherman, and Chloe Fineman. (Nwodim and Gardner later left the show ahead of the current 51st season.)

Sherman urged the comedian to reveal to the live audience what voice he was talking about.

"LongtimeRolling Stoneeditor David Fricke," Johnson declared, naming the music journalist who has had an illustrious career but may not be a familiar voice to the averageSNLviewer.

"Wait, did you really, did you really do it?" Armisen asked, amused at the reference, as Johnson's colleagues nodded that he had.

"I've done it so many times. It's always a resounding no from everyone in the room," Johnson replied.

"We laugh," several of his costars insisted.

"You laugh, you laugh because it's like, 'Oh, look at James, he's doing his little cartwheel for us,'" he retorted, insisting, "It's my best voice. It's my best impression. I nailed that guy. It's just, you know, that people don't want to see it."

After the group egged him on to do the impression, he warned, "It's the most boring voice you've ever heard in your life," before providing a demonstration of Fricke discussing Paul McCartney.

Check out Johnson's impression of Fricke below:

Armisen asked if the impression had ever made it to a sketch performed at dress rehearsal.

"No, no, no, no," Johnson replied. "Every single time they've been like, 'You gotta stop submitting that s---. You gotta stop. There's no time.'"

For comparison, you can watch the real Fricke discussing McCartney himself below:

Saturday Night Liveis currently on winter hiatus before making its expected return sometime in January with new episodes.
