Dancing with the Stars season 34 premieres Sept. 16 on ABC

A new group of stars is ready to compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.

The ABC dancing competition show revealed the official cast on Sept. 3, after previously announcing four dancers, including conservationist Robert Irwin.

"I cannot tell you what a privilege, what an honor it is to be joining this season," he said before recalling how his sister Bindi competed on the show in 2015. "I said, 'One day, that's gonna be me.' And now, that dream is a reality, and I am over the moon. Let's do this!"

Last season was one for the Dancing with the Stars record books — season 33 attracted the highest total viewership in over three years, with 7.95 million total viewers watching the finale, per Variety. The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and his partner, Jenna Johnson, won the season.

But in season 34, a new duo will take home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Here's everything to know about Dancing with the Stars season 34.

Who is in the Dancing with the Stars season 34 cast?

Brendon Thorne/Getty ; TheStewartofNY/Getty

Robert Irwin; Alix Earle

Dancing with the Stars' season 34 cast consists of Olympic gymnast and gold medalist Jordan Chiles with partner Ezra Sosa, The Traitors and social media star Dylan Efron with pro Daniella Karagach, Boy Meets World alum Danielle Fishel with Pasha Pashkov and Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying with Rylee Arnold.

The cast also includes The Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix with Alan Bersten, NBA All-Star Baron Davis with partner Britt Stewart, actor and musician Corey Feldman with pro Jenna Johnson, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui with partner Brandon Armstrong and comedian Andy Richter with pro Emma Slater.Prior to the reveal on Good Morning America, the series announced four celebrity contestants: late Steve Irwin's son Robert, influencer Alix Earle and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt. Meanwhile, PEOPLE confirmed in August that Hilaria Baldwin would be competing, and her partner was later revealed to be Gleb Savchenko.

Irwin is paired with pro Witney Carson, while Earle will dance alongside Val Chmerkovskiy and Leavitt is paired with Mark Ballas. Finally, Affleck will be competing with the newest pro, Jan Ravnik.

Robert was the first cast member confirmed for season 34. He made the announcement himself at Disney Entertainment Television's Get Real Event in April 2025, walking through the crowd shirtless while holding a snake around his neck.

Robert isn't the first Irwin to compete on Dancing with the Stars. Back in 2015, his sister Bindi was crowned the winner of season 21 alongside her partner, Derek Hough, who is now a judge on the show.

While speaking to PEOPLE at the Los Angeles gathering, Hough said he believes Robert can "absolutely" live up to his sister's legacy.

"It's been 10 years since that little guy was on that front row rooting for [his sister]," Hough said. "To see the man that he's become in 10 years is pretty amazing. We're really lucky to have him."

In May 2025, Earle was named season 34's second celebrity contestant.

"I'm ready to challenge myself. I think it's going to be a lot of fun," she said on Good Morning America. "I danced when I was little until my sophomore year of high school. At least I know an eight count in dance, but I've never done ballroom."

Who will host Dancing with the Stars season 34?

Eric McCandless/Disney/Getty

Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will return as hosts for season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, they confirmed at the April 2025 Disney event.

Hough has a long history with the dance competition show. She previously starred as a professional dancer for five seasons from 2007 to 2009, taking home two Mirrorball Trophies. She also served as a judge for six seasons between 2014 and 2021.

"Dancing with the Stars has been part of my life for 18 years, and it's truly shaped who I am," Hough wrote on Instagram in April 2025. "From dancing as a pro in the ballroom to judging on the panel and now co-hosting with my bestie @therealalfonsoribeiro this journey has been full of growth, joy, and deep deep connection."

As for Ribeiro, he's been co-hosting the series since season 31. As a contestant, he won season 19 of Dancing with the Stars alongside his partner Carson.

Who are the judges for Dancing with the Stars season 34?

Eric McCandless/Disney/Getty

Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli

Dancing with the Stars has confirmed that judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, who have served on the panel for 33 consecutive seasons, will return as judges. Derek, who joined as a judge in season 29, will also be reclaiming his post.

Which pro dancers will return for Dancing with the Stars season 34?

Cristian Lopez/Disney/Getty

Ezra Sosa and Rylee Arnold in 2025.

The list of dancers slated to compete on Dancing with the Stars season 34 was announced as part of the cast list.

The returning pros include Sosa, Arnold, Bersten, Stewart, Armstrong, Slater, Carson, Ballas, Savchenko and newcomer Ravnik. Married couples Johnson and Chmerkovskiy and Karagach and Pashkov round out the cast.

When will Dancing with the Stars season 34 premiere?

Eric McCandless/Disney/Getty

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson during season 33 of 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 16, on ABC. The episodes will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and PT and will be available for streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

"Ice Road Truckers" is sliding back onto the small screen for the first time since 2017, as the show will return for a new season on History Channel after eight years off the air.

Season 12 will premiere on the cable network on Oct. 1. Series vets Todd Dewey and Lisa Kelly will join a group of ice-trucking rookies as they navigate over North Canada's frozen lakes and icy roads to deliver supplies and necessities to far-out communities cut off from civilization. "With a winter window shorter than ever and no time to waste, these drivers risk everything to haul in a lifeline of goods while chasing big paydays before the opportunity melts away under their chained tires," reads the logline.

"Ice Road Truckers," from "Deadliest Catch" executive producer Thom Beers, first launched on History in 2007 and ran for 11 seasons through 2017. The series was never officially canceled, but after Season 11, cast members said in interviews they were never asked to return back to the show.

"Ice Road Truckers" is produced for the History Channel and Corus Entertainment by Original Productions and Eagle Vision. Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett, Meredith Prunkard and Patrick Costello are executive producers for Original Productions; Kyle Irving, Lisa Meeches and Rebecca Gibson are EPs for Eagle Vision. Rachel Nelson and Lynne Carter are the executives in charge at Corus, and Eli Lehrer, Mary E. Donahue and Alex Hicks serve as executive producers for History.

"The timing couldn't be better to bring back a beloved series that once resonated with our viewers for over a decade," said Eli Lehrer, executive vice president and head of programming for the History Channel.

FLORENCE, Italy (AP) — Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma said he will try to improve his ability to pass the ball out from the back after transferring to Manchester City.

City signed Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday even though he's not known for build-up skills with his feet — typically a key requisite for goalkeepers coached by Pep Guardiola.

"I always try to help the team and do what the coach asks of me. I do everything; you can always improve in everything, but regarding what the coach asks of me, I try to improve," Donnarumma said at Italy's training camp on Wednesday. "I'm sure that with Guardiola we'll do a great job."

Donnarumma — one of the world's best shot-stoppers — was a key figure in PSG's run to the Champions League title last season but was deemed surplus to requirements at the French club following the signing of Lucas Chevalier from Lille last month.

The issues with his feet were also evident in occasional glaring errors during his tenure at PSG.

"Since I started playing at 16 until today, I've always done great things. Mistakes will always happen. But I believe I've achieved great things," said Donnarumma, whose saves were decisive when Italy beat England in the final of the European Championship in 2021.

Donnarumma replaces City's long-time Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, who was sold to Fenerbahce.

Ederson helped revolutionize the goalkeeper position with his uncanny calmness under pressure with the ball at his feet, providing seven assists in the Premier League — two more than any other goalie — thanks to his long, raking passes.

Donnarumma is now the future for City, though, after signing a five-year deal.

"I couldn't wait to join City because they really wanted me. The coach really wanted me, and that made me proud. To be wanted so strongly by the best club in the world makes me proud," Donnarumma said.

Reuniting with Gattuso

Before he joins City, Donnarumma has some other high-pressure work with Italy, which is trying to avoid failing to qualify for a third straight World Cup.

The Azzurri host Estonia in Bergamo on Friday then play Israel in Hungary in another qualifier three days later.

They're the first matches since Gennaro Gattuso took over as coach from the fired Luciano Spalletti in June after the four-time champion lost 3-0 to Erling Haaland's Norway.

Italy has three points from two matches. Norway, which has played four matches, leads Group I with 12 points, and Israel is next with six points from three matches.

"I was lucky to have Gattuso as a coach at (AC) Milan," Donnarumma said. "I know what kind of person he is and what he can bring. I'm happy to have found him again here. We'll give everything we have to bring Italy back to the top. We need to be humble and united to build teamwork."

Tempers flared almost immediately on Tuesday at Coors Field.

The benches cleared and a pretty big brawl broke out in the middle of the infield after Rafael Devers hit a deep home run during the opening inning of the Colorado Rockies' 7-4 loss to the San Francisco Giants.

The issue appeared to stem from Devers' reaction to his two-run homer. He spent a few seconds watching the home run leave the park before starting to run the bases, which didn't sit well with Rockies starter Kyle Freeland. The two started chirping at each other before Devers even reached first base, and then things escalated pretty quickly.

Punches were thrown in the infield as players from both teams rushed into the mess.

"Surprised it hasn't happened before with that guy [Freeland]," Giants pitcher Logan Webb said postgame, via NBCS Giants. "Just kind of runs his mouth a lot of times and Raffy got him good."

Umpires eventually separated the two teams and got the game under control. Freeland was ejected, as were Giants players Matt Chapman and Willy Adames.

Devers' two-run home run ended up counting, even though he didn't actually round the bases before the fight broke out. He went back out and got to finish the trip once things settled down.

The Giants ended up cruising to the three-run win, thanks in part to a three-run fifth inning in which Wilmer Flores and Casey Schmitt each hit home runs. The Giants, now 70-69 on the year, have now won nine of their last 10 games and are fighting to make a late push in the NL wild-card race.

The Rockies, on the other hand, hold the worst record in Major League Baseball at 39-100. They are the only team in the league that has already been officially eliminated from postseason contention, too.

STRAFFAN, Ireland (AP) — Rory McIlroy watched Novak Djokovic handle boisterous spectators during a win at the U.S. Open and is ready to follow the tennis star's lead at the Ryder Cup held in the United States this month.

A hostile and partisan crowd is set to greet McIlroy and the European team at Bethpage Black for the Sept. 26-28 matches as the Americans look to regain the cup two years after losing in Rome.

Djokovic had to deal with a similar environment during his U.S. Open quarterfinal match against home favorite Taylor Fritz and handled it well, even blowing kisses at one point to the fans rooting against him.

McIlroy liked what he saw from Djokovic, who gave Europe's golfers a motivational speech in their team room before the victory at the 2023 Ryder Cup about dealing with high-pressure moments.

"He's been the best at handling that," McIlroy said Wednesday at the Irish Open. "He's had to deal with it his whole life, whether it's playing against an American in New York or playing against Roger (Federer) or Rafa (Nadal).

"He came and spoke to us a little bit about that stuff last time in Rome. So maybe taking a leaf out of his book and channeling that energy the right way. But again, all we can do is control our reaction and our emotions to it. I think the less we play into it, the better it is for us."

The experience of Rome should come in handy at Bethpage for a European team — finalized Monday — showing just one change two years on, with Rasmus Hojgaard qualifying automatically to be the only rookie in the 12-man roster.

McIlroy used Robert MacIntrye — a rookie in Rome and now a regular contender for events on the PGA Tour — as an example to back up his belief that "pretty much every player on the team is more accomplished than what they were two years ago" and believes Europe has a "wonderful opportunity" to win a Ryder Cup on the road for the first time since 2012.

"They have a very strong team," McIlroy said of the Americans. "They're going to have a pretty raucous crowd on their side and on a golf course that a lot of them know pretty well from previous tournaments there.

"So make no mistake, we know we're up against it and we know we've got a tall task on our hands, but I love the team that Luke has assembled."

Demi Moore has nothing but love and respect for Emma Heming Willis.

In a Sept. 2 appearance on "The Oprah Podcast," the "Substance" actress praised the way that Bruce Willis' wife has been taking care of him amid his battle with frontotemporal dementia. Moore was married to the "Die Hard" star, 70, from 1987 to 2000 and has maintained a close relationship with him and Heming Willis.

"I have so much compassion for Emma in this, being a young woman," said Moore, 62. "There's no way that anybody could have anticipated where this was going to go. And I really think she's done a masterful job. She has been so dedicated to forging the right path. She's had equal amounts of fear and strength and courage in navigating this."

Demi Moore attends the TIME100 gala in New York on April 24, 2025.

Moore noted "so much fell on Emma to really figure this whole thing out" after Willis' diagnosis, adding that the "most beautiful thing" was the way that Heming Willis has recognized "the importance for caregivers that they have to take care of themselves, and that if they don't put that time in to making sure that they're OK, that they then can't show up for anyone else."

Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis slams critics of her choice to live separately

The "Ghost" star went on to share that it has been "difficult" to see her ex-husband struggling. "It's hard to see somebody who was so vibrant and strong and so directed shift into this other parts of themselves," she said.

Moore's comments come after Heming Willis, 47, opened up in an ABC News interview with Diane Sawyer, where she revealed she has placed her husband in a new home with professional caregivers after his 2023 frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. She described this as "one of the hardest decisions" she had to make but said she "knew, first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters," as he "would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs."

Heming Willis and Bruce Willis have been married since 2009, and they share two daughters: Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11. The actor also shares three children with Moore: Rumer, 37; Scout, 34; and Tallulah, 31.

Demi Moore attends the Oscars on March 2, 2025.

After the ABC interview, Heming Willis took to Instagram to push back on critics of her caregiving.

Demi Moore reflects on what she's 'most grateful' for in relationship with Bruce Willis

"What I knew is that by sharing some of our intimate information that we would see these two camps," she said. "It would be people with an opinion versus people with an actual experience."

She continued that the comments she has received since the ABC interview aired show how quick people without caregiving experience are to judge caregivers, adding, "The opinions are so loud and they're so noisy, but if they don't have the experience of this, they don't get a say."
