<p>The change came just hours after PEOPLE confirmed that the couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Venice, Italy, on Friday, June 27</p>

<p>Lauren Sánchez officially confirmed her marriage to Jeff Bezos by making a subtle change to her Instagram bio on Friday, June 27. Her page now bears the name Lauren Sánchez Bezos.</p>
<p>The change came shortly after PEOPLE confirmed that the Amazon founder, 61, and the Emmy Award-winning journalist, 55, tied the knot in a ceremony on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, on June 27. The couple's wedding celebration featured a star-studded guest list including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher and Tom Brady.</p>
<p>Jeff and Lauren's wedding festivities spanned several days in the Floating City, kicking off with a welcome party. The elegant soirée was held on Thursday, June 26, in a closed cloister adjacent to the Madonna dell'Orto church.</p>

<p>A source told PEOPLE that the party-goers dined on pizza cooked onsite by a famous Neapolitan chef, along with fried zucchini flowers, arancini, octopus and cod. The dessert spread included pastries and lemon cakes.</p>
<p>The bride-to-be wore a golden off-the-shoulder duchess satin dress for the occasion. The design, part of Schiaparelli's Spring-Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection, featured a corseted waist and striking baroque floral embroidery. Jeff, meanwhile, wore a classic black suit and white dress shirt.</p>
<p>On their wedding day, Jeff and Lauren were photographed leaving the Aman Hotel separately to make their way to the ceremony venue. The children's book author was already bringing the bridal vibes in a retro-inspired white jacket-and-skirt set, accessorized with large sunglasses and a silk head scarf tied under her chin.</p>
<p>The Blue Origin founder stepped out in a dapper black tuxedo and aviator shades.</p>
<p>As the day went on, stars were spotted getting into water taxis en route to the nuptials, wearing their stylish wedding attire. Pink appeared to be a favorite color for the women, as Winfrey, Khloé, Ivanka Trump, Sydney Sweeney and Brooks Nader all wore various shades of the color.</p>

<p>Jeff and Lauren's wedding was the culmination of the couple's years-long romance. News of their relationship first broke in early 2019. While it's unclear how and when the two initially met, sources previously told PEOPLE that they struck up a working relationship while collaborating on several projects and "gradually" fell for each other.</p>

<p>In May 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple had gotten engaged. While they were vacationing in the South of France at the time, Lauren was spotted wearing a large ring on her left ring finger while spending time on Bezo's superyacht, Koru.</p>
<p>A source told PEOPLE at the time that the newly engaged pair were "on cloud nine" and "so happy and madly in love." The insider also said that Sánchez kept "playing with it and looking at it."</p>
<p>While the pair keeps their relationship pretty private, Lauren has posted birthday tributes to her now-husband over the years. In 2022, when Jeff turned 58, she wrote on Instagram that she wished that "the world will see you through my eyes."</p>
<p>"They don't see the man who puts everything aside to help a sick friend, but my eyes do," she wrote. "They don't see the man who wakes up early every morning to make breakfast for the kids so they can laugh and talk about life and science and how to make this world a better place — my eyes do."</p>
