Add "smelly armpit belonging to an exhausted airline traveler" next to Central Park nudists, "ingrate" children disrespecting her Halloween candy, and those neighbors who made a noise complaint against one of her family's lively parties to Kelly Ripa's terror watchlist.

The Live With Kelly and Mark host revealed Tuesday morning that she endured a particularly harrowing encounter with a European man's body odor while traveling to the region and that a kind stranger helped rescue her from her nasal plight.

Ripa eased into the conversation by reading off the results from a survey that highlighted the most memorable summer sensations, which included the smell of human musk in the heat.

"Boy, I got armpitted, didn't I? In the train in the airport? Oh, I got armpitted to the degree that a woman actually moved her child back and said, 'In case you want to stand next to us,'" Ripa recalled of a recent excursion to a different country.

"We were on this tram, and I wasn't holding onto the strap," Ripa continued. "I was leaning up against the pole connected to the strap because I don't like to touch the strap. Anybody touching the strap is a weirdo and a freak. So, I just leaned my cheeks against the pole."

Clarified Ripa's husband and cohost, Mark Consuelos: "Wedged them in there?" to which Ripa replied that she got "into my semi-squat" to engage her core in the process.

"All of a sudden, a man stands directly in front of me and goes..." she said, trailing off as she stood up to put her armpit all over her husband's face, which she used as a prop. "And now I'm like, 'Ah!'"

Consuelos lamented "that 10-hour flight smell" his wife endured that day.

"Not the armpit in my face directly, right? That's aggressive. That's a sign of war," Ripa estimated. "And the woman who is standing with her children in the corner says, 'Come over here,' so she let me share her cheek space with my cheek, so now we have four cheeks — two adult women, two children, on one pole, crowding away from Captain Armpit."

Not to be outdone, Consuelos admitted that he, too, has experience with armpit terrorists in Europe, as he regularly whiffed the pits of Italy's population while he was growing up.

"As I got older, I got to be armpit height on the buses and on the trains," he said. "Yeah, it's an experience. It's a summer sensation."
