<p>A teen gangbanger was shot and killed by his friend after his stolen gun accidentally went off.</p>
<p>A 15-year-old boy was arrested for the death of his friend and fellow gangbanger after the suspect's gun went off while he was flashing it inside a Queens apartment Wednesday afternoon, police and sources said.</p>
<p>Jamuri Mezar, 14, was shot and killed in his Jamaica home at the Norman Towers during what law enforcement sources described as an accidental discharge.</p>
<p>The older teen brought a stolen 9mm gun to Mezar's home and was showing it off when it fired, striking Mezar in the head, the sources said.</p>
<p>Mezar was pronounced dead on scene, police said.</p>

<p>His pal bolted from the apartment and left the gun next to Mezar's body, which originally led investigators to believe the wound was self-inflicted, sources said.</p>
<p>Both teenagers were members of the B4L, or brothers for life, gang, sources said.</p>
<p>Other teens were inside the apartment at the time, the Daily News had reported.</p>
<p>One of the boys stayed behind with Mezar to open the door for police when they arrived, sources told the Daily News. Neither of Mezar's parents owned a gun, they told the outlet.</p>
<p>The suspect was taken into custody Thursday morning and charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.</p>

<p>"I save people every day, but I couldn't save my own son. I don't know why God would do this to me. He was a beautiful boy," Mezar's mother, a registered nurse who was at work when the shooting occurred, told the outlet.</p>
<p>Another Big Apple teenager, Darrell Harris, was shot and killed in broad daylight on Tuesday when an actual gunman turned up at a water gun fight at a Bronx park.</p>
<p>Late Wednesday night, a 36-year-old woman was shot and killed outside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn while the NBA was holding its annual draft inside.</p>
