Beyoncé's production and management company, Parkwood, released a statement regarding the incident. She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.

Saturday's performance at Houston's NRG Stadium is one of the last stops in the 22-show "Cowboy Carter" tour. After one more night in Texas, Beyoncé heads to Washington, D.C.'s Northwest Stadium for two shows on July 4 and July 7 before heading to the final two performances at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta Ga. on July 10 and July 11.

Beyoncé took home three trophies at the 2025 Grammy Awards for her "Cowboy Carter" album, released March 29, 2024. She took home the prizes for best country album, best country duo/group performance for "II Most Wanted" and album of the year. The album of the year win marked Beyoncé as the first Black female artist to win in the category since 1999 when Lauryn Hill won for "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."
