Savannah Guthrie's faith remains unwavering asthe search for her mothercontinues.
The "Today" anchortook to Instagramon Sunday, March 22, with the first posts to her grid in several weeks. Amid the disappearance of her mom,84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, she shared an image of a religious painting, bearing the words, "I believe, I believe."
Guthrie did not add a caption to the post, which received a flood of support in the comments from fans and colleagues. "I believe," wrote "Today" cohost Carson Daly.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb. 1, and has not been seen since the prior evening. Authorities in Arizona have said they believe she was taken from her home against her will. The Pima County Sheriff's Department has been searching for Guthrie for nearly two months but have had no major breakthroughs in the case in recent weeks. In February, theFBI sharedimages of a masked individual at Guthrie's front door before she went missing, but the suspect has not been identified.

Earlier in the day on March 22, Guthrie alsoshared the latest statementfrom her family, which was previously provided to the local Arizona station KVOA-News 4 Tucson. They asked for "renewed attention" to the case and urged the public to consult "camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance."
"We continue to believe it is Tucsonans, and the greater Southern Arizona community, that hold the key to finding resolution in this case," the Guthrie family said. "Someone knows something. It's possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant."

Savannah Guthrie has opened up in the past about her faith being a major part of her life, as she wrote about in her2024 book, "Mostly What God Does: Reflections on Seeking and Finding His Love Everywhere."

"What Nancy gave Savannah, but also her two other children, Cam and Annie, is this deep and abiding faith and goodness and hope and optimism and all the [reasons] why we love Savannah," Bush Hager said on "Today with Jenna & Sheinelle." "So much so that when I had my son [Henry 'Hal' Hager in 2019], I was like, who is the most faithful person I know? Who could like lead him in his path and whatever that takes? And that's Savannah."
Guthrievisited her colleagues at "Today" earlierthis month and confirmed she plans to make a full return to the show, though a timeline has not been announced.
"She said that she has the intention to return to the show, even though it feels like the hardest thing to do, it's also her home, and where she feels so loved, and she is beyond loved here," Hager said. "And so we're happy that she is home. I don't know when she's actually returning to the show, but she was here, and that felt so good to get to hug her."
