**This article contains spoilers about the first nine episodes of *Love Is Blind* season 9.****

We've seen a lot of red flags already on *Love Is Blind* season 9 from pretty much every single and engaged cast member, but the most concerning, most unhinged, biggest red flag of all is Jordan Keltner's daily chicken-lemonade smoothie.

In episode 9, Jordan demonstrated to his fiancée "Sparkle Megan" Walerius the very different kind of protein smoothie he drinks every morning. No, he doesn't use protein powder, and it's not like any kind smoothie you've seen before. This man throws 8 ounces of a baked chicken breast into a blender with water and a lemonade Crystal Light packet, and then chugs the unholy concoction. Every. Single. Morning.

Megan couldn't choke down a single sip of the chicken smoothie and almost puked in the sink after trying it. Who can blame her?! But when * *asked Jordan about his daily breakfast smoothie, he defended his "efficient" protein smoothie.

"It's a TikTok brain rot," Jordan tells EW. "I just saw it and I was like, 'Wow, that seems really easy to do, and I'm just going to start doing it.' It's very efficient. I do it every day still."

As for why he chose to mix chicken with lemonade, he argues that it's more of a natural flavor combination than it sounds.

"You got to think like, you got a zesty lemon chicken, that's good," Jordan says. "But you don't put grape on chicken, right? So doing like a grape flavor I don't think would be good, or like a watermelon. You need something very acidic. So I just do lemon — it works good for me, and that's what I'm going to stick with. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, for sure."

But it can't actually taste good, right? Jordan laughs as he admits that "it definitely took some trial and error" to get it palatable.

"The first time I made it came out like a peanut butter consistency, and I still just slammed it," he adds. "Now that I've got it dialed in, I can chug it in like 45 seconds and be done with my day."

But seriously, what's wrong with just a normal protein smoothie, in a normal flavor like vanilla or chocolate?!

"I just don't think that's nearly as wholesome," Jordan says. "It just doesn't feel like it."

But then he laughs again as he finally admits, "I don't know, to be honest! I have no good excuse."

Will Megan say "I do" to Jordan and his daily chicken-lemonade smoothies? We'll find out when *Love Is Blind *season 9 releases episodes 10 and 11 on Wednesday, Oct. 15, and the finale on Wednesday, Oct. 22.**
