On Sunday, March 8, the Princess of Wales, 44, shared atributeon social media celebrating the "loving influence" of women who make up their communities all over the world.

"Today we celebrate the kindness, resilience and quiet strength of women in our families and communities," she wrote alongside a photo of a mom holding her baby. "This day is about standing up alongside one another — recognising the loving influence of women, who nurture and hope, encourage others and help make the world kinder and more compassionate."

Kate also reposted a few spotlights highlighting women doing impactful work with various organizations — includingIram Siraj, an internationally recognized professor of child development and education at the University of Oxford,Hope Ngulube, a former Ranger for the Conservation Lower Zambezi, and many more.

This isn't the first time that Kate has used her platform to honor strong and resilient women on International Women's Day. Last year, shetook the opportunity to remember the late photographerLiz Hatton, who died at age 18 from cancer in November 2024 after having it on her "bucket list" to meet the Princess of Wales, who also shares a passion for photography.

"Celebrating the strength and creativity of Liz and [her mother] Vicky Hatton," Katewroteon X at the time. "It was an honor meeting them both in Windsor in October. Liz's memory live[s] on in Vicky's unwavering resilience. Thank you for such a moving moment #IWD2025."

Kate's heartfelt tribute was also shared alongside a previous social media post featuring a photo of herself embracing Liz when they first met at Windsor Castle the year before.

"A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today," the mom of three, whocompleted her own cancer treatmentin September 2024, wrote in the previous post. "A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us ❤️ W&C."

Back in 2024, Kate wasfeatured in a series of Instagram Storiesshared on her and husbandPrince William's official account while she wasrecovering from abdominal surgery.

"Happy International Women's Day!" a post read alongside a series of photos honoring inspiring women such as Sarah Goldson, who directed the Wimbledon Ball Boy and Girl training since the 2012 championships, and the founder and CEO of Sebby's Corner, Bianca Sakol. "Celebrating the impact of amazing women today and every day."
